Teacher - Math

About the role

This is a regular 10-month contract with full benefits effective the 2026-2027 school year. By Board Policy 7440, a teacher must remain in his or her school for three school years.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching license (attach via Supplemental Materials Page)
• Licensure test scores (Praxis, Pearson, edTPA or PPAT) – attach via Supplemental Materials Page
• Official transcripts – attach via Education Page
• Cover letter and résumé – attach via Supplemental Materials Page

Pay

NC Teacher Salary Scale plus local Board approved supplement.

Base Supplement Schedule

• 0-4 years: $700/month ($7,000 annual)
• 5-9 years: $750/month ($7,500 annual)
• 10-14 years: $850/month ($8,500 annual)
• 15-19 years: $900/month ($9,000 annual)
• 20-24 years: $950/month ($9,500 annual)
• 25+ years: $1,000/month ($10,000 annual)

Hard to Fill (HTF) Supplement Schedule

• 0-4 years: $900/month ($9,000 annual)
• 5-9 years: $950/month ($9,500 annual)
• 10-14 years: $1,050/month ($10,500 annual)
• 15-19 years: $1,100/month ($11,000 annual)
• 20-24 years: $1,150/month ($11,500 annual)
• 25+ years: $1,200/month ($12,000 annual)
