TEACHER, LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE - ECE, TEMPORARY

About the role

A Temporary Long-Term Substitute for August 3, 2026 - November 6, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Counsels students to encourage and support student achievement.
• Makes sure students follow the rules and behave appropriately.
• Monitors and records students' progress, behavior, and health.
• Plans lessons and activities based on curriculum guidelines.
• Teaches students individually and in groups, using various methods.
• Administers tests and assignments, and grades them.
• Communicates with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators about student issues.

Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Has a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license.

Qualifications

• Believes in and supports all students so they feel seen and heard.
• Lives and works with a permanent home address in Colorado.
• Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Skills

• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of educational standards and curriculum.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior.
