Teacher - Kindergarten - Lincoln

About the role

A teacher position is available at Lincoln Elementary School for the general kindergarten class. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Teach reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and other subjects appropriate to kindergarten level.
• Utilize technology literacy skills such as keyboarding, email, word processing, and internet usage in the classroom.
• Implement curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance student learning.

Requirements

• Valid teaching certificate and current emergency first aid certification.
• Experience working with children in a kindergarten setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• At least one year of teaching experience.
