About the Role

As a Classroom Teacher at Franklin Academy Charter Schools, you will lead a classroom of diverse learners, delivering engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with state and school-specific standards. You will create a safe, supportive environment where students are excited to learn and empowered to reach their full potential. By implementing strategies that address all learning styles, you will ensure each student thrives. Using data to inform your instruction, you’ll continuously adjust teaching methods to maximize student success.

Responsibilities

• Foster student growth by using a variety of teaching strategies, including hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and individualized support to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maximize student achievement through ongoing assessments and tailored instructional adjustments to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to provide well-rounded support for students’ academic and personal success.
• Build a positive classroom environment based on mutual respect, active inquiry, and a shared passion for learning, where all students feel heard, valued, and empowered.
• Incorporate technology and creative tools to enhance the learning experience and prepare students for success in a 21st-century world.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities supported by the school, staying informed about emerging trends and continuously modeling lifelong learning for your students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent).
• Possession of, or eligibility for, valid teaching certification.
• Teaching experience, which may include student teaching or other relevant experience.
• Strong command of the subject(s) you teach and the ability to deliver content in an engaging, impactful manner.
• Adherence to the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.

Pay

Total possible compensation package: $57,187.50, which includes:

• Base Salary
• Sign-On Bonus
• Retention Stipend
• Enrollment Incentive Stipend
• Employer 401K Match (2.5% of Base Salary)
