Contract and Benefits

This is a regular 10‑month contract with full benefits effective the 2026‑2027 school year. By Board Policy 7440, a teacher must remain in his or her school for three school years.

Salary

NC Teacher Salary Scale plus local Board‑approved supplement (see schedule below).

• 0‑4 years experience: Base $700 /month ($7,000 annual) – Supplement $900 /month ($9,000 annual)
• 5‑9 years experience: Base $750 /month ($7,500 annual) – Supplement $950 /month ($9,500 annual)
• 10‑14 years experience: Base $850 /month ($8,500 annual) – Supplement $1,050 /month ($10,500 annual)
• 15‑19 years experience: Base $900 /month ($9,000 annual) – Supplement $1,100 /month ($11,000 annual)
• 20‑24 years experience: Base $950 /month ($9,500 annual) – Supplement $1,150 /month ($11,500 annual)
• 25+ years experience: Base $1,000 /month ($10,000 annual) – Supplement $1,200 /month ($12,000 annual)
