Teacher - Flexible Scheduling

About the role

Support young learners as they grow, explore, and develop in a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Help create a positive, engaging, and enriching atmosphere where children can develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually through play and guided learning.

Responsibilities

• Foster social, emotional, and intellectual development through guided learning and play
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support each child’s growth
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
• Follow ODJFS licensing rules and school guidelines
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children or in an educational/childcare setting preferred
• High school diploma plus 45 in-service hours in Early Childhood Development over a three-year period
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Caring, patient, and nurturing with a genuine love for working with children
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a classroom environment
• Willingness to learn, grow, and participate in ongoing training
• Completion of 10 hours of approved Step Up To Quality training annually
• Child Development (CD) classes must be renewed every 3 years

Pay

$14 per hour
