About the role
A regular 10-month contract with full benefits effective the 2026-27 school year. By Board Policy 7440, a teacher must remain in his or her school for three school years.
Responsibilities
- Teach elementary curriculum
- Develop lesson plans and assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
- Maintain classroom management and student behavior
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid teaching license
- Pass Praxis II exam or equivalent
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Effective classroom management
- Ability to differentiate instruction
- Technology integration in teaching
