Teacher, ELA (6-12)

About the role

The position is available for an ELA Teacher to teach grades 6-12.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
• Mentor and support students' social and emotional development.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• A current Florida Educators Certificate in English (6-12).
• At least two years of teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse educational setting.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Common Core State Standards.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
