Teacher - Early Childhood (Open-Until Filled)

About the Role
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
Requirements
- Arizona Elementary Certificate with Early Childhood Education Endorsement OR
- Arizona Early Childhood Education Certificate (Birth through 3rd Grade) OR
- Arizona Special Education Certificate with Early Childhood Education Endorsement
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization (prior to start date)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pre-K early learning standards implementations
- Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
- Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
Schedule
- 9.5 months – 207 days (212 days for new to district teachers)
- Typical Teacher FTE: 1.0, 7.5 hours per day
Pay
For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage. Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position. Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
