About Micah Children’s Academy
Micah Children’s Academy, located on a beautiful and expansive property, serves children ages six weeks through Pre-K in a Jewish values-based, Reggio Emilia-inspired environment. Our vision is to provide age-appropriate, play-based learning that integrates the best of early childhood education theories and research-based practices. We focus on nurturing the whole child, fostering growth in all developmental domains through creative, problem-solving, and discovery-based activities. While our program is rooted in Jewish values, we warmly embrace and celebrate students from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and interfaith families. Each day is enriched with opportunities for children to construct their own knowledge through art, sensory experiences, music, movement, a love and awe of nature, math, and science, creating a rich and inclusive learning environment.
Micah Children’s Academy, located on a large beautiful campus at the corner of Old Hickory Boulevard and Hillsboro Pike, conveniently serving the communities of Brentwood, Franklin, and Nashville. Our building was designed by renowned architect Michael Goorevich, creating light-filled modern spaces filled with windows looking out onto the campus and providing inspiration to our teachers and children as well as a strong connection with nature. Our playscape, designed by landscape designer Sari Barton, is one of our best features, designed to allow a child’s imagination to run wild and provide a strong connection to nature.
