About the role
We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Camp Hill on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique position involves working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
Most of our class sizes range from 15 to 20 school-age patients at any one time.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
- Provide individualized assistance to students
- Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
Requirements
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- PA State teaching license
- Comfortable working with K-12 students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable transportation
Schedule
40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
