About the role

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to our dynamic team, focusing on the emotional and behavioral rehabilitation of adolescent males.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement structured lesson plans for grades 5-12
• Build a therapeutic rapport with our youth
• Collaborate with the special education team to enhance academic performance
• Attend meetings with family members, collateral contacts, and other teams to address academic needs
• Work with youth to develop important life skills and foster a sense of self-worth
• Support the youth in achieving success in their next steps

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Massachusetts teaching certification from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
• Relevant experience with grades 5-12 preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of the needs of the population served and understanding of interventions required
• Valid driver’s license for transporting students

Pay

The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $94,000 per year. The actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and qualifications.

The schedule for this position is flexible to accommodate the needs of the program and the individual.
