Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Aid in budget preparation and forecasting
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate financial audits
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, local, and federal financial regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of practical accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
