About the role

Huntington Learning Center in California, MD is seeking part-time Teachers to join their dynamic team. Ideal candidates should hold a 4-year degree, with special education or phonics experience being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring in various subjects including Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Study Skills, Phonics, Vocabulary, Science, Test Prep, High School Entrance Exam preparation, and SAT/PSAT, ACT, and ASVAB preparation.
• Participate in paid intensive initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and curriculum.
• Work flexible daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Certification may be preferred but not required.
• Exam Prep teachers must successfully complete and pass the SAT exam in their area of expertise.
• A caring and qualified professional committed to student success.
