About the role
HTH seeks a High School Spanish Teacher, to join the teaching team at one of our six high schools.
Responsibilities
- Embolies High Tech High’s design principles of Equity, Personalization, Authentic Work and Collaborative Design in all work activities and actions
- Creates daily lesson plans with project-based assignments that are engaging, educational and exciting for the kids
- Plans, prepares and delivers instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
- Incorporates goals, competencies and objectives into lesson plans in ways that directly apply to the student’s life
- Achieves school and course-wide performance goals for every student in class
- Grades assignments and homework regularly to keep students updated on how they are doing
- Identifies students who are struggling with learning, emotional problems, or situations at home, and finds them the resources they need

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid California Teaching Credential or Out-of-state teaching license, in subject desired to teach
