Join our dynamic team at Yamhill Head Start! We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to provide quality early childhood education and care services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages 3-5.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and development.
• Assess children’s progress and communicate with parents/guardians regularly.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding child care and education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Valid Oregon teaching license or ability to obtain within one year.
• Experience working with young children preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a health clearance.
• Pass a drug screening.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Salary range: $30,000 - $40,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
