Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons
• Build strong relationships with students
• Support students to achieve their personal and academic goals

Requirements

• Current QLD Teacher Registration or ability to obtain mutual recognition
• Demonstrated experience in providing support and education for marginalised young people and those suffering as a result of Adverse Childhood Experiences
• Suitability for Working with Children card (Blue Card)
• Experience and/or knowledge in trauma informed practices in an educational setting or willingness to learn
• Experience in Mathematics teaching is highly regarded

Qualifications

• Pasionate about supporting youth and their families
• Empathetic and excellent communication skills
• Able to collaborate with students, staff, and external professionals
• Organised, adaptable, and proactive in fostering a safe, supportive, and values-driven school environment
