About the role

The Archdiocese of St. Louis seeks a faith-filled, student-centered educator to join the team at St. Joseph School. Located in Shrewsbury, MO, the Cardinal Rigali Center serves as the headquarters and governing body for the Archdiocese.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Absorb and utilize instructional technology and best practices to enhance student learning.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
• Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote student responsibility and accountability.
• Foster positive relationships with students while supporting their social and emotional development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Missouri teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Strong instructional, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
