The Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering standards-based lessons, using diverse instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Daily activities include classroom instruction, managing a positive learning environment, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback. The role involves collaborating with colleagues and families, participating in professional development, and maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance. The Teacher also supports school-wide initiatives, adheres to district policies, and promotes a culture of respect, inclusion, and academic excellence.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with the ability to deliver engaging instruction aligned with curriculum standards.Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to design clear, developmentally appropriate, and measurable learning activities.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact with students, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.Candidates should possess Training and instructional facilitation skills to support student learning and contribute to professional growth activities.Relevant qualifications include a valid Florida teaching certificate (or eligibility), a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, and experience working with diverse student populations.Additional beneficial skills include classroom management, use of educational technology, data-informed instruction, and commitment to equity and inclusion.
