About the Role

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure for the state in which the position is located.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Education or specialized subject area.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools.
  • Training in classroom management and student behavioral support strategies.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction in subject areas assigned, using a variety of teaching methods and technologies.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Manage classroom behavior to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
