Teacher Assistant Preschool-EEC Certifie

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily lessons and curriculum plans using creative curriculum.
• Assist the Teacher to create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students.
• Perform assistant teaching activities that align with the EEC and Head Start Performance Standards regulations.
• Provide meal assistance and bus monitoring.
• Perform other various activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC teacher certification required.
• Associate degree in early childhood preferred; Child Development Associate (CDA) credential considered.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Valid Massachusetts state driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Qualifications

All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check prior to beginning employment.
