About the Role

Cadence Academy Preschool, a member of the Cadence Education family, is seeking a vibrant Teacher Assistant to join our team of childcare superstars for the summer season. You will help create a fun, nurturing environment for preschoolers, delivering an engaging, age‑appropriate curriculum and fostering a warm, positive classroom where children feel safe to explore, play, and grow.

Responsibilities

• Foster a warm, positive classroom where kids feel safe to explore, play, and grow.
• Team up with fellow educators to deliver an engaging, age‑appropriate curriculum that sparks joy.
• Share daily milestones with parents, turning small moments into big smiles.
• Guide children’s play with toys, language, and activities while keeping safety first.
• Model kindness and social behaviors that help kids thrive.
• Contribute ideas for a daily schedule that balances quiet time, active fun, indoor/outdoor adventures, and fine/gross motor activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Meets all state preschool teacher‑assistant requirements.
• High flexibility and willingness to work within business hours.
• Preferred: Previous experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare.

Pay

Hourly pay range $16.40 – $19.40.
