TEACHER ASSISTANT, BILINGUAL (PORTUGUESE)

Essential Performance Responsibilities

• Provide bilingual instructional assistance in the classroom.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials.
• Present classroom instruction.
• Perform various clerical duties.
• Aid and supervise student actions to enhance educational delivery.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of Teacher Assisting Curriculum and ParaPro Test or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English and the target ELL language.
• Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work with students.
• Basic computer skills.

Prior to Employment

• New hires will start at the minimum of the assigned salary range.
