Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be willing to enroll in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of hire.
- Ability and willingness to work directly with young children in a hands-on classroom environment.
- Ability to support the implementation of developmentally appropriate learning experiences and positive child guidance practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework in early childhood education.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework in early childhood education.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or early childhood setting.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs.
What You'll Do
- Support teaching staff in implementing curriculum and daily lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Actively supervise and engage children to ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
- Auxiliary in behavior management, assessments, and documentation to support individualized learning and school readiness.
- Collaborate with teachers and families to enhance educational outcomes.
- Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment that supports safety and efficiency.
