Teacher Assistant

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be willing to enroll in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of hire.
• Ability and willingness to work directly with young children in a hands-on classroom environment.
• Ability to support the implementation of developmentally appropriate learning experiences and positive child guidance practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework in early childhood education.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework in early childhood education.
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or early childhood setting.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs.

What You'll Do

• Support teaching staff in implementing curriculum and daily lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Actively supervise and engage children to ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
• Auxiliary in behavior management, assessments, and documentation to support individualized learning and school readiness.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to enhance educational outcomes.
• Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment that supports safety and efficiency.
