Teacher Assistant

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• School-year position following the Midlakes Central School District calendar
• Paid holidays and school breaks

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required (or higher)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities

• Support the UPK Teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and lessons
• Assist with classroom management and supervision of children
• Foster children's social, emotional, and academic development
• Prepare classroom materials and learning centers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Pay

Starting at $18.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly, with opportunities for wage increases based on relevant experience and education.
