Teacher Assistant
Job Summary
The Archdiocese of St. Louis seeks a Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction and foster a Christ-centered learning environment at St. Margaret of Scotland.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with small-group and individual instruction
- Reinforce academic concepts
- Prepare classroom materials
- Maintain an organized and structured classroom environment
- Promote respectful behavior and model Gospel values
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and school activities
- Support students with diverse learning needs
- Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, grading, and organizing instructional resources
Job Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
- Praising Catholic preferred
- Ability to pass required background checks and complete diocesan safe environment training
Pre-Employment Screening
