Teacher Assistant Aide

Key Responsibilities

• Aid Instructors with non-instructional tasks to optimize the teaching process.
• Instruct the Air Traffic Basics course.
• Support and guide students in various situations to improve their learning experience.
• Prepare and organize course materials and resources.
• Maintain oversight of student progress.

Qualifications

• Hold an associate’s degree in aviation from an accredited college or university.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or similar role in a STEM field.
• One year of relevant aviation experience, such as being a former CTI instructor, flight dispatcher, or flight/airline coordinator.
• Receive FAA general and course-specific training.
• Pass the necessary certification by the FAA to fulfill specific job duties and responsibilities.
• Be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
