Teacher Aides – Brooklyn

About the role

HASC is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Teacher Aides for its Schoolage Program in Brooklyn. This position offers a $500 Sign-On Bonus and the chance for a Referral Bonus.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with a range of special needs
• Assisting with daily activities and routines
• Implementing individualized educational plans
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid New York State certification as a Teacher Aide (optional)
• Passing score on the New York State Teacher Aide Certification Exam (optional)
