About the role

The Children's Guild empowers children, families, and communities to thrive in school and beyond. We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide direct, one-on-one support to students with special needs, helping them succeed in the classroom through individualized care and education.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs based on student data using differentiated strategies
• Participate in meetings, PLCs, and ongoing supervision as part of a collaborative team
• Apply experience with multi-tiered systems such as PBIS and restorative practices
• Maintain regular communication with parents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree (experience in special education preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs or autism
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed
