Teacher Aide- Taylor Elementary

About the role

The Spencerport School District is seeking a part-time Teacher Aide at Taylor Elementary School.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to students in a kindergarten classroom under the supervision of the classroom teacher
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• A High School or Equivalency Diploma
• 1 year paid or volunteer full time equivalent experience working with children
• 1 year paid or volunteer full time equivalent experience with clerical duties
• Combination of the aforementioned experience
• Possession of a certificate of completion of a course of Child Care through an occupational school, The American Red Cross or similar Agency
• Successful completion of one (1) year of college education beyond high school (minimum of 30 credit hours)

Hours

4 hours per day; 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Salary/Rate of Pay

$16.93- $17.21 per hour, based on experience
