This position is a non-competitive Civil Service position with Nassau BOCES, supporting various programs across the Department of Special Education.

About the role

Bilingual Teacher Aides support teachers in implementing specialized programs to meet individual student goals and needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and classroom organization
• Assist with data collection
• Support all tasks of daily living and behavior modification, including feeding, toileting, and mobility

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Experience with students with disabilities is highly desired
