About the role
It is an itinerant position at Hamburg Middle School.
Responsibilities
- Teach various subjects to students in grades 6-8
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student safety
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members
- Assist in extracurricular activities as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid teaching license in New York State
- Experience teaching middle school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
