About the role
A 1.0 FTE position is available for a Teacher at Everett Public Schools.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses in accordance with district curriculum and standards.
- Plan and implement lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback through formal and informal assessments.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Maintain accurate records and report grades as required by the district.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid teaching license in the state of Washington.
- At least two years of successful teaching experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of current educational theories and practices.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
