About the role

A 1.0 FTE position is available for a Teacher at Everett Public Schools.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned courses in accordance with district curriculum and standards.
  • Plan and implement lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback through formal and informal assessments.
  • Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
  • Maintain accurate records and report grades as required by the district.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid teaching license in the state of Washington.
  • At least two years of successful teaching experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Knowledge of current educational theories and practices.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
