Responsibilities

• Encourage students to develop skills, attitudes, and the knowledge needed to obtain a good foundation for continuous growth and development.
• Provide students with experiences which integrate the effective, cognitive, and psychomotor dimensions of learning.
• Establish effective rapport with students and their parents.
• Assist students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.

Requirements

• Current New Mexico Educator's License.
• Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
• Upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee's Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District's expense.
• Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with administrators, staff, students, and parents.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements.

Pay

Nine months (185 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the District Certified Teacher Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions.
