About the role

Teach by implementing a flexible program and creating an environment favorable to learning and personal growth by: encouraging students to develop skills, attitudes, and the knowledge needed to obtain a good foundation for continuous growth and development; providing students with experiences which integrate the effective, cognitive, and psychomotor dimensions of learning; establishing effective rapport with students and their parents; and assisting students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.

Qualifications

• Current New Mexico Educator's License

• Ability to work effectively with administrators, staff, students, and parents
• Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements

Pay & schedule

• Nine months (185 days) per contract year
• Appropriate placement on the District Certified Teacher Salary Schedule
• Work calendar subject to change based on Board approved revisions
