Teach Tennis to Kids with Autism - ACEing Autism College Park, MD

Looking for volunteers with heart to help us teach tennis to kids with autism in College Park, MD!

• No tennis experience is necessary!
• Our goal is to help these children learn socializing skills, fine & gross motor skills, and gain interest in fitness, which means we have a focus on fun.

Responsibilities

• Receive training
• Be paired with a participant to help them through the motions of the game of tennis through various drills and games
• Form a bond and friendship with the participants over the course of the session
• Return each week to see the strides the athletes make in our program

Schedule

• Saturdays: June 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25, August 1, 8, 15, 22
• Sessions: Two consecutive sessions ending on July 18
• Time: 9:00 – 11:00 am
