Job Duties

• Performs highly complex supervisory maintenance and construction work.
• Oversees maintenance and construction inmate staff involved in the installation, care, and repair of state facilities and equipment.
• Repairs equipment including, but not limited to, plumbing, boilers, heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning (HVAC), locking mechanisms, electrical systems, water‑plant operations, wastewater‑plant operations, carpentry, laundry and food‑service equipment, and general maintenance and construction.
• Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

• Completed an applicable program from a trade or technical school.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans, and specifications.

• Knowledge of basic components of boilers and water and wastewater treatment facilities.

• Travel: 100% – position may require 16+ nights away per month.

Pay

• Maintenance Supervisor I (0‑12 months experience): $3,871.51 per month
• Maintenance Supervisor II (13‑24 months experience): $4,103.81 per month
• Maintenance Supervisor III (25+ months experience): $4,352.39 per month
• Maintenance Supervisor IV (48+ months experience and HVAC license): $4,903.13 per month
