About the role

This position coordinates, reviews, enters, and processes requests for human resources actions while assisting with the planning, development, revision, and implementation of policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. You’ll handle complex issues, answer detailed questions, and manage the maintenance and analysis of correspondence, reports, forms, and other documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Daily data entry and retrieval, identifying discrepancies and coordinating corrections
  • Review time and leave records
  • Maintain automated and manual filing systems and computer databases
  • Provide technical assistance on processes and operating procedures
  • Develop solutions and new approaches to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Coordinate applicant screenings and document verification
  • Send notifications to applicants and employees
  • Complete required forms and appointments
  • Train and supervise the work of others to support efficient and accurate HR operations

Requirements

You’ve graduated from an accredited high school or earned a GED and have four years of full-time experience in human resources, customer service, clerical or secretarial work, administrative support, program or public administration, financial operations, auditing, or technical program support. You can substitute fifteen accredited college semester hours for each six months of experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
