  • Backlogs/Arrears: Maximum of one active backlog at the time of the test; must be cleared before joining.
  • Academic Gaps: Total gap ≤ 24 months until highest qualification; must be declared.
  • Course Type: Only full-time regular courses (no correspondence/part-time).
  • Age: Minimum 18, maximum 28 years.
  • Work Experience: Role is for trainees; prior internships or work experience must be declared.
  • Shift Willingness: Must be comfortable working in a 24×7 shift environment.

Selection Process

  • Registration/Application: Apply via the TCS NextStep portal under the “BPS” category.
  • Online/In-Center Test: Screening test (50 minutes) covering Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, and Logical/Reasoning (no coding).
  • Interview/HR Round: Behavioral, situational, and process knowledge questions.
  • Offer & Onboarding: Selected candidates will be onboarded as trainees in BPS operations.
