TCP Temporary Environmental Health and Safety Associate
About the role
The Temporary EHS Associate will support continuous safety and environmental improvements in all TCP process areas. This is a temporary position lasting 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Monitor OTIS and iKaizen submissions and ensure project completion.
- Track feedback from Gemba walks and audits, supporting action plans.
- Use injury and near-miss data to prioritize improvement projects.
- Promote employee wellness initiatives by partnering with the Occupational Health Nurse.
- Identify ergonomic challenges and opportunities for improvement with Onsite Work Solutions.
- Participate in Operational Learning Teams across the plant.
- Serve on the Safety Steering Team.
- Conduct inspections for hazardous and non-regulated waste, recycling, and flammable cabinets, implementing updates and improvements as necessary.
- Maintain inventories for flammable cabinets.
- Support 5S initiatives to enhance workplace organization and layout.
Requirements
This position requires a High School or General Education Diploma (GED), and 6+ months of experience at Trivium Cable Plant. Strong knowledge of the manufacturing processes is required.

Pay
The range for this position is $21.50 hourly rate - $26.25 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
Schedule
The position is a Temporary position lasting 6 months.
