TB Outside Upholsterer

Duties And Responsibilities

• Upholster Outside sections of chairs and sofas.
• Perform own repair work.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing Experience.
• Preferred Experience in furniture manufacturing.
• Less than High School Education.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Skills

• Knowledge of upholstery procedures.
• Able to transport frames to and from work area.
• Able to lift frame onto working area.
• Able to read order tickets in English.
• Able to use staple gun, staple puller, scissors and regulators.
• Able to perform own repair work.
• Able to work safely, neatly and quickly to meet production requirements.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.
• Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
• Must adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.

Pay

Non-Exempt – Full Time – Production/Hourly

Schedule

Monday – Friday 6a – 3:30p Overtime as needed
