Responsibilities

• Use power and hand tools to apply and install cut fabric to wooden framework in the assembly of hand-crafted furniture
• Repair and refurbish upholstery products and support materials of vinyl, fabrics, and leather, including the removal of staples
• Maintain equipment and work area in an orderly manner
• Work with Sewing department to perform measurements and fitting of product to determine appropriate size of frame and fabric
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to use all related tools and equipment effectively and safely
• Ability to work cooperatively with members of other teams to meet goals
• Must be available to work overtime if required

Physical Demands

• Mobile necessary to perform a range of tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, possibly reaching chest high and overhead for materials
• Able to lift/move/pull 10-50 lbs occasionally throughout the day
• Ability to hear adequately on the phone or in person and group settings
• Vision: Required to have close visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception
• Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate standard tools and equipment
• Able to stand and/or walk (90% of the day) and consistently reach, bend, and move inside the facility to move product

Salary Range

$17.00-$18.00
