Duties And Responsibilities
- Create 3D furniture frames
- Manage and modify current frame files as needed
- Work closely with the PD department to create and modify frames
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ Years Solid Works 3D Drawing
- Preferred 5+ Years of Furniture frame drawing in Solid Works
- High School Diploma and Certification in Solid Works
- Bachelor’s Degree in CAD with 3+ years’ experience in Solid Works
Required Skills
- Must be proficient in Sold Works software
- Must be able to understand the frame drawing process
- Must be able to work with Product Development to create new and revise old frames
- Must be able to perform established goals in a fast-paced environment
- Strict attention to detail is a must
- Must be a Team Player
- Must be reliable
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
- Must have your own reliable transportation
- Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime
- Must have strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Some walking/standing is required
- Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled, as well as a typical office environment
- Must have good vision
- Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heal shoes when required
- Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others
