Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all workplace safety rules and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assemble drawer boxes using wood components, hardware, and fasteners according to specifications
- Read and follow work orders, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and small assembly equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure drawer boxes meet quality, dimension, and finish standards
- Inspect assembled drawer boxes for defects, fit, and accuracy
- Perform minor adjustments or rework as needed to meet quality
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read basic measurements and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and quality-focused
Job Qualifications and Education
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Previous experience in manufacturing, expediting, production control, or cabinet industry is preferred
- Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods is a plus
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs occasionally
- Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures typical of a manufacturing environment
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
