TAY Mental Health Specialist - 3rd shift (30hrs per week)

Responsibilities

Our continuum of care addresses every stage and aspect of what children may be experiencing after traumas caused by mental illness, abuse, or neglect. With help from The Buckeye Ranch, they’re empowered to overcome obstacles, tap into their resilience, and move forward toward healthy, fulfilling lives.

• Provide strength-based, trauma-informed care through one-on-one and group supervision and intervention.
• Work with young adults’ support by providing case management in areas such as academic support, career preparation, workforce development, financial management, home management/maintenance, health and risk prevention, and relationship/communication skills.
• Use a variety of skill sets to model, teach, and encourage young adults toward a successful discharge from the program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of behavioral/mental health experience.
• QMHS certification, or eligibility for one.
• Active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
