About the role

The firm serves a variety of industries including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services. Interns work on engagement teams with other interns, associates, senior associates, managers, senior managers, and partners, gaining exposure to diverse client industries.

The Denver office offers a modern workspace with collaborative spaces designed for learning and growth. Each intern is assigned a Performance Coach to set goals and provide feedback, and a CR Friend—a peer mentor—to help with onboarding and day‑to‑day questions.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a variety of client deliverables including preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client‑provided trial balances.
  • Assist the team with daily client workflow.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • On track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA in both major and overall.
  • Successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher.
  • Leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and sharp critical thinking.
  • Comfortable navigating fast‑paced environments and embracing change.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, eager to learn new technologies.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Pay

$33 per hour (Colorado)

Schedule

Hybrid role with an expectation of in‑office collaboration averaging 3 days per week.
