About the Role
CohnReznick is seeking motivated, high-achieving college students for a Tax Winter 2028 Internship (~January-April) in Austin, Texas. This hybrid position offers hands-on experience with current tax laws and procedures while working on real client engagements across diverse industries. Interns will collaborate with experienced professionals and receive mentorship to accelerate their growth.

- Work closely with a team of Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
- Serve clients across industries: Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services.

Responsibilities
- Work on client deliverables, including preparation of tax returns (individuals, partnerships, and corporate).
- Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client-provided trial balances.
- Assist the team with daily client workflow.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- On track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
- Minimum 3.2 GPA in both your major and overall.
- Successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher.
- Leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
- Excellent communication skills and sharp critical thinking.
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; eager to learn new technologies.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Schedule
- Hybrid position with an average of 3 days per week in the office.
- In-office cadence determined at the team level.
