Responsibilities

• Provide direction, instruction, and guidance to the Tax Specialist.
• Assist the Tax Supervisor with interviewing candidates for the Tax Department.
• Affirm that the Tax Specialists receive proper training and assist in all aspects of Association processes.
• Know the tasks required of the Tax Specialists.
• Confirm the accuracy of all processes and procedures.
• Aid in developing departmental procedures.
• Occasionally work on weekends as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of experience in tax.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Able to manage multiple employees.
• Knowledge of tax processing.
• Experience in customer service.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong judgment and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Complete Control for Communities (C3) software, though not required.
• Understanding of, or experience in, the Community Association Management Industry, though not required.
• Experience working in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment, though not required.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet Associa's credit requirements.
