Tax Supervisor - Energy

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and planning services to Weaver’s Energy clients.
• Assist and mentor less experienced teammates.
• Manage multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexities.
• Achieve high development and high performance goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate with 4+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
• Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Energy clients
• Experience preparing federal tax returns

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills
• Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
