Position Summary

Your Impact (Essential Duties):

  • Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns;
  • Foster and develop meaningful client relationships, addressing tax issues and coordinating related entity filings;
  • Perform detailed reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality work;
  • Review quarterly and annual accounting procedures to support tax preparation;
  • Analyze organizational structures for tax impacts and ensure accurate filings;
  • Prepare estimated tax liabilities and provide strategic tax planning;
  • Supervise, train, and mentor team members, conducting regular performance reviews;
  • Research and document complex tax issues, presenting guidance and solutions;
  • Communicate tax planning solutions with clients and other professionals involved in the client relationship;
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members on projects and deadlines;
  • Contribute to team efforts and participate in ongoing professional development; stay updated on tax laws and best practices;
  • Supervise multiple engagements, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
  • Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivity.

Background

Required Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience in tax preparation;
  • CPA or EA license or eligibility;
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;
  • Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements;
  • Ability to adapt to tax law changes and provide strategic tax planning;
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and related tools;
  • Developing strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial and tax work;
  • Analytical skills to address and resolve complex tax issues;
  • Full-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines.
